Our Learner Charter
Pre-Programme:
We will give you impartial, confidential and independent information, advice and guidance about learning, training and job search.
We will help you to identify your personal needs and match you to the best training options for you – even before you join a programme.
On-Programme:
We will make sure that your training environment is safe, secure and welcoming. We will not tolerate discrimination or bullying.
We will give you extra support if you need it.
Our staff will always be helpful, supportive and will be suitably experienced and qualified. They are experts in helping with pastoral problems.
We will always listen to any problems or complaints you have which affect your training.
We will keep a written record of all of your activities and agree, review and update your training plan with you regularly.
Where relevant, your training will lead to a qualification from a recognised awarding body.
We will provide unlimited job search support while you are on programme. This includes free access to telephones, photocopying, internet, intranet and postal facilities for your job search.
We will help you to make good career choices that suit your ability and needs.
After Care:
We will continue to support you with advice, guidance and on-going job search support for at least six months after you leave the programme.
We will help you to identify and access on-going training opportunities.
